X3 To Shoot in Vancouver From August 2 Through To December 15

[Archived in Entry]

http://www.monitorduty.com [Monitor Duty] Looks like another superhero flick is being filmed here. Thanks to Hollywood North Report for the info. The movie is being scheduled for a May 26, 2005 release date.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

my weblog[my weblog] War Of The Worlds ~ Wired Has An Encounter With Director Steven Spielberg: Neither pre-viz nor Zeno has softened Spielberg’s almost fetishistic appreciation for film – not just shooting on film, which is still the norm in Hollywood, but editing on film, which is all but unheard-of anymore. For most directors, editing a huge, rush picture on film would be a suicidal luxury; for Spielberg, who’s worked with the same editor since 1977, it’s just a luxury. “I love being able to have an actual byproduct of photochemistry in the room with me,” he says.

Captain Yips Secret Journal[Captain Yips Secret Journal] Archives: The crusty, cranky protty in me might get worked into a mild case of tut-tuttery of this Mary statement, were it not that Frank Griswold had a lot to do with it.  As our Romish friends will eventually discover, Frank just loves to sign his name.  Somewhere, someplace, in an unswept corner of some Episcopal think tank, I'm sure someone has said, or will eventually say, that Mary lived one of those alternative life styles, that the Gospels actually record and affirm early experiments in transgressive family structures, blah blah.  When this comes to light, Frank will endorse it, too, as another example of unfolding truth or something.

[Complicationsensue.blogspot.com] Complications Ensue: The Crafty TV and Screenwriting Blog: It's funny -- it takes a long time to learn how to write TV, but it isn't clear that there is actually that much you can put into words. What would a book on being a Roman Centurion have about fighting? Most of it would be about how to keep your boots dry, I guess.

[Complicationsensue.blogspot.com] Complications Ensue: The Crafty TV and Screenwriting Blog: No sooner was I moaning about having a little too much time to myself than I came down with a ferocious flu, or cold, or something. Nothing more than a sore throat and intense desire to sleep the day away, such that I actually slept under my desk for about three hours rather than brave the ten minute drive home.

[Darknet.com] Darknet: Until very recently, television was an experience which was confined to the lounge room, shackled to a big, heavy box. But now we can watch full-length television programs on our mobile phones (a new capability of the latest generation of mobiles), or on the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP), a high-resolution, widescreen, portable game and media machine, two of the new "must have" items for the younger set. Audiences are growing fond of the idea of on-demand TV, available wherever they are, whenever they want to watch it. Television viewing has become a multitasking activity; you might watch a short program - something like the 11-minute "Adult Swim" episodes pioneered on the Cartoon Network, or the 3-minute "mobisodes" being rolled out by various wireless carriers.
