„That's enough to keep me giggling like a school girl. Cheap DVD players will do that for you.“

Some slightly related:
„Sleepers are great for the nosy person like me - I spent a lot of time watching my cabin mates a sleep which was fascinating. Firstly there are all the people who prowl up and down the carriages watching others sleeping - I couldn't work out if they were pervs or thiefs or on some other misson that I couldn't understand. Secondly it was interesting to see the positions that people slept in - the men mostly laid out flat and sprawled but the women curled up most properly with feet flat aginst the wall and sari's tightly wrapped and tucked under the knees - the woman also hardly moved where the men wriggled constantly.“http://www.cheshirecat.tv/djworldtrip/archive/ 000033.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„Cyberfiction novel with real personalities placed into eerie and surreal surroundings, playing out what's going on in their own nerdistic minds. Any ressemblance with living persons is wilful and is in no way the product of any coincidence whatsoever.“http://user.online.be/icone/cyberia/ cyberia2.htm - Cached - Similar Pages
„Click here to see which bloggers are closest to me, geographically speaking. As far as I know, Ryan, Tony and Lee are actually the closest, though I don't think they're using GeoURL yet. Also, since they're within a mere 2-3 blocks of me in either direction, the GeoURL latitude/longitude finder (which uses your zipcode) is probably not perfectly accurate, since I live on the Cambridge border and it's a different zipcode across the street.“http://www.bitter-girl.com/archives/ 2003_06.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„On the informational page it describes how the library released 100 copies of Leif Enger's novel Peace Like a River into the community, and says "students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to read the book, write comments in the margins, and sign and date the inside back cover," before passing on the book to someone else or bringing it back to the library for redistribution. I think that's a nifty idea. Often reading someone else's notes in the margins of a book drives me crazy, but if I was reading a book as part of a community building exercise like this, I'm sure I would enjoy seeing who else read my copy of the book and what they thought about it.“http://www.tangognat.com/blog/archives/ 2004_03.html#000279 - Cached - Similar Pages

„I just finished watching Millennium Actress, the new movie from Satoshi Kon, director of Perfect Blue. I enjoyed Perfect Blue a lot, especially as a subversion of traditional anime chipperness. The film is a great commentary on the cruelty fueling the young shojo "idol" phenomenon in Japan; how young women are built up to mind-bending heights of popularity before being discarded for the next big thing.“http://www.yukihime.com/archives/2003_04.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„His only successful effort from a purely technical point of view was The Hobbit, and that was a children's book with an omniscient narrator - which is to say it wasn't exactly in the form of the modern novel, either. The Lord of the Rings, the most beloved literary work of the 20th century, is not loved for its execution or technical merits. Many people, even some like Veronica who have no particular prejudice against fantasy, cannot even read it - yet Peter Jackson's flaming-palantir version of LotR has given me a new appreciation for the virtues of the original.“http://www.ficml.org/jemimap/moveabletype/ cat_movies.html#000978 - Cached - Similar Pages
