[Needcoffee.com] I'm sure there are copyright and legal issues, but it sure would have been nice to see some of the source material attached to the DVD. The parents who grew up on Seuss would have probably enjoyed hearing from the Henson artistic staff about how they brought this show to life and are helping to make it all accessible to a new generation.

[Themovieblog.com] DVD Flashback: Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: add to this the fact that Kevin Spacey was yet to be seen in either The Usual Suspects or Seven and that this movie is viscous and dark (albeit with a bit of saccharine at the end...It is after all a Christmas movie) and perhaps you come up with Box-Office poison. It is a vastly underrated film that needs more exposure and Christmas time for those looking for a meaner-side of the holidays.
