Star Wars Episode III: Easter Eggs

[Archived in Entry]

CityCynic.com: The life of a New Yorker who doesn't know when to quit!http://www.citycynic.com [CityCynic.com: The life of a New Yorker who doesn't know when to quit!] While the group of people that noticed all of these special extras in the film may be limited to only those people that waited for hours/days/weeks on lines to see the 12:01 AM first showing, all are pretty cool for all Star Wars fans.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Memoirs of a Lunatic] Star Wars III Easter Eggs: Starwars.com has been kind enough to list these out for us, including validating the fact that the Millennium Falcon can be seen in one scene. I had heard this rumor, but had dismissed it. Now, since it is coming from this source and with supposed confirmation from George Lucas, I must recant.

[The Southern California Law Blog] Six Pix from SoCal: Calbog links to this article on two 80-something Japanese soldiers who have been in seclusion since World War II and apparently were unaware of Japan’s defeat. Update: Reuters reports that doubts are being raised regarding the veracity of this story.

[Alethea's Haven] Time to blog...: Dearie and I went around the city looking for a good facial scrub and body moisturiser for myself and facial cleanser for Dearie. Bought the Neutrogena Blackhead Remover Cleanser which scurbs the face and dearie bought the Neutrogena Anti-Acne Cleanser. I also bought the Ganier Body Cocoon moisturiser. Love it a lot.

Core Dump[Core Dump] Star Wars Episode III Easter Eggs: I saw Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith today. Definitely the best of the "new" trilogy and better than I expected - amazing effects dragged down by the typical silly Stars Wars dialog and plotting. There are a lot of "Easter eggs" - little hidden or subliminal treats for viewers - in the movie and this article on starwars.com details some of them. I missed the kitchen sink - guess I'll have to go back and see it again.

http://www.macmanx.com/wordpress [MacManX.com] Revenge of the Sith: Easter Eggs: As expected, there were a few Easter Eggs hidden throughout Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. You can find a short list of the Easter Eggs, recently released by the StarWars.com team, here.

http://www.majornelson.com [Major Nelson.com] Star Wars Episode III Easter Eggs: If you are going to see Star Wars Epsiode III tonight for the first (or twent-first) time…take a look at this list of easter eggs that can be found in the movie.

Worldmagblog.com[Worldmagblog.com] World Magazine Blog: ... Yesterday, this blog explored reasons for the popularity of Star Wars. ... “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith” is breaking records for box ...

Weblog.greenpeace.orghttp://weblog.greenpeace.org [Weblog.greenpeace.org] GREENPEACE | Defending the Deep : Episode III : Rainbow Warrior ...: If you've been interested in Greenpeace for a while, you may remember some of my photographs from the first campaign of the current Rainbow Warrior. In 1990 we went into the Tasman Sea to protest at oceanic driftnetting, where mile upon mile of nylon nets were strung across the ocean to catch albacore and skipjack tuna. Unfortunately the nets also caught everything else in their path, including dolphins, whales, sunfish, birds, and numerous other fish species not wanted by the fishermen.

[Whitefinger.blogspot.com] Voices of a Distant Star: Order 66: It'll probably reduce my enjoyment of the film slightly, but I'm still pretty stoked. Just go to Duncan's blog and check out the link he has to Kevin Smith's blog. There are some pretty big spoilers in there, but it confirms that the movie is going to very dark.

http://www.tiffanyastone.com [Tiffanyastone.com] Breakfast at Tiffany's: I looked at all of the 10 or so pictures today at a newsstand. It's not obvious that Cameron Diaz and MTV producer Shane Nickerson are kissing each other as The National Enquirer alledges. Cameron was obviously distressed about something and Shane was hugging her and perhaps kissed her on the cheek. There's even a guy right by them in one of the pictures.

Angasm.orghttp://www.angasm.org [Angasm.org] Ang Tong: the blog @ angasm.org: ... a star, he falls much faster, and is also invulnerable to enemies. ... I had to get 199 points in Baby Mario (giving me 89 eggs in the Yoshi stage). ...
