Sony releases several new HDD based DVD recorders

[Krunker] Sony is also providing a means for transferring video to your PSP with these recorders as they all have Memory Stick Duo Pro slots. The units will also record to a DVD of course and should be out in November of this year.

If that is indeed true and it's me talking instead of booze, I think it won't really matter if there's one or two analog outputs on an HD player that should otherwise natively support HDCP.

[Askdavetaylor.com] "Sony DVD Recorder DVDs won't play elsewhere?" from the Ask Dave ...: My husband has a Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX3, he is transferring Video films onto DVD discs, he is using DVD-R discs, when he tries to play them back on other DVD's they won't play. Can you tell me if this is a problem with the DVD or the the discs that he is using.
