„My dorm is really nice, it has an industrial kitchen, like five lounges. I haven't been to the basement yet but it's supposed to have a big screen tv and dvd/vhs player and some game tables. My room mate is really nice though i don't see much of her, she mostly hangs out with the other japanese kids and i have been really busy. Today we were matriculated into willamette.“

„Before I realized that I was sick, a couple friends and I decided it would be a good idea to pile 5 people into a nice 2 door Mirage and head out to Yosemite to camp.“http://www.ghettotoyota.com/archives/ 2004_03.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„I work a twelve-hour day six days a week from September to June: classes in the mornings, media center coordination and minor courses in the afternoons, dorm duty at night, working with teachers to tinker with their pedagogy in amongst it all. On my occasional day off I tend to spend an hour or two chasing email, helping with homework, unlocking doors for the kids in the hall. To-be-graded papers stack up on my desk; I average five hours of sleep a night.“http://mediakit.blogspot.com/ 2003_05_25_mediakit_archive.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„McBain rooms run the gamut in size and quality. Some are spacious and offer bay window views overlooking Broadway, but be wary of the inner shaft rooms. Shaft singles and doubles are often remarkably smaller than those on the fringe. They also have low natural light, are hot in early fall, and provide insider views of neighbors' lives. The 2nd floor just was converted from a publishing office to a brand new housing floor and is beautiful. Each floor has a TV lounge, newly renovated communal separate-sex bathrooms, and two small yet functional kitchens (except the third floor, which features one larger kitchen). McBain has only one elevator, which is often crowded and slow. Noise is always a complaint in McBain. Whether it's the thin walls, people shouting across the shaft, the echo of slamming doors in the hallway, or the normal hustle and bustle of Broadway traffic and pedestrians, residents quickly learn to abandon ship if they need some quiet.“http://www.columbia.edu/cu/reshalls/roomsel/ mcb.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„President Compton, in an address to the Alumni concerning the need for a graduate dorm, stated "Graduate students now lack almost completely the social contacts which the undergraduates enjoy throughout their manifold organized activities. Their cultural development, and hence their social effectiveness, depend on such contacts. The most natural cultural training comes from free social intercourse between men of differing interests but of equivalent intellectual outlook." The first Graduate House was founded in 1933 with the conversion of three undergraduate dormitories to graduate residences.“http://web.mit.edu/ashdown/www/visitors/ history.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„Two days later, on February 4, a number of racist jokeswere broadcast on the student-run radiostation WJJX, which transmitted its signalsthrough the electrical wiring system into campusdormitories, reaching a potential audience ofabout 10,000. "Who are the two most famous black womenin history?"one joke began. "Aunt Jemima and mother f-----."(5)Most of the other jokes were even more offensive.“http://m3peeps.org/vr87.htm - Cached - Similar Pages
„The meeting space in the basement of Robinson Hall is too small for Cabin and Trail and Ledyard Canoe Club's weekly meetings. Many students must stand in the hallways because the meeting room is filled to capacity. In addition, this meeting space no longer belongs to the DOC.“http://www.dartmouth.edu/~doc/archives/ annualreport2002.html - Cached - Similar Pages
