It can be connected to a television, and when connected to a compatible audio system can bring the soundtrack to life with Dolby Digital audio. Designed for easy use on the road, the MDP-1720 includes a high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery pack and has a built-in antishock system that helps prevent annoying interruptions. It features both built-in stereo speakers and a headphone jack for private listening (headphones not included), as well as a wireless remote control for use across the room, such as when connected to a TV. With the unit connected to an amplifier, you can use it as a karaoke machine (with karaoke discs). It supports multiple audio language tracks and multilingual subtitles, and lets you select from multiple camera angles on DVDs that give you those options.
