[AnimeSlice] Known as the Walt Disney and Stephen Spielburg of Japan, maker of some of the most beloved animated classics of all time and requiring no further introduction to anime fans around the world, Hayao Miyazaki is a giant in annuals of cinema. While his previous films have always pushed the creative envelope by introducing us to ever more incredible worlds of mystery with beautiful animation of which was mostly drawn personally by the director himself, Howl is unfortunately quite mediocre compared to his previous works.
