„Speaking of videos, I never did get very far with the VCD-making. I can make one, and it'll play fine on the PC and the Mac, but when I try to play it on my DVD player, it's all stuttery. The video's fine but the audio's out of synch. I tried all these different settings in Nero and it always comes out the same.“

Some slightly related:
„Ryan has worked on literary narrative theory for more than two decades, and is an important figure in the literary use of possible worlds theory. No one in my literature department appears to have heard of this theoretical direction, though having started to read about it I think it's very relevant to digital media. Ryan's current work often doesn't explicitly mention possible worlds theory, but for her, narrativity has more to do with the construction of a narrative/fictional/possible world than with formal structures.“http://huminf.uib.no/~jill/archives/ september2002.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„What you're asking for sounds a lot like Tinderbox, a cross-platform tool that Jill Walker (among others) uses for her note taking and blog publishing. Have been thinking about acquiring it myself, although I'm quite fond of Movable Type, and don't really want to switch blog platforms at this point.“http://www.stevenberlinjohnson.com/movabletype/archives/ 000012.html - Cached - Similar Pages

„Here's the overview numbers for now: minimo-bloat.html. I will fine-tune these numbers as I go. It appears the three top hitters are things allocated by image frame (coming in at a whopping 1M), by the cache (at 100-200K) and by nsCSSDeclarations (allocated all over the freaking place and apparently never destroyed).“http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/jkeiser/archives/ 2003_02.html - Cached - Similar Pages
„For one thing, it can be configured to look quite different, for example, just like a database of text documents (see Figure 4); and for another, it works in a completely different way. You don't even have to see StickyBrain when you want to store something in it, and that's a powerful feature that makes it a lot more like a brain than a replacement for a piece of paper.“ posted on 2004/07/27http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2003/08/05/ outboard_brains.html - Cached - Similar Pages
