Pokemon Online - Squandering a license?
Chris on 2004/04/18:
„People will pay for broadband to play a Pokemon game, even if parents have to justify it as something they were meaning to do anyway, you know, for business and e-mail. People got broadband for Final Fantasy Online the same way that they bought PS2s for a cheap DVD player that also plays games. And that was a game targeted at an older audience that didn't offer a whole lot different than your typical MMORPG. Nintendo seems to be neglecting the sway of a whiny kid upon their parents.“

The PSX

„Though no details for US launch. Playstation II, TiVo type PVR recording, DVD player (progressive scan), DVD-R & DVD-RW burning, CD-ripping, 100Mbps ethernet for online gaming, download content (movie trailers), share photos, 160/250GB hard drive all rolled up into one cool package . Pretty impressive. The very simplistic user interface looks interesting too.“
