Product Description:
A great starter player or second-room entertainment device, the Apex AD-1125 does double duty as a movie source and a music player, giving you a choice of video outputs as well as decoding for the popular MP3 and Windows Media Audio music formats. If you burn pictures from your digital camera to CD-Rs and CD-RWs, you can even use the player for watching slideshows right on your TV. Use standard CD-R/CD-RW media filled with JPEG images, or burn Kodak Picture CDs for even greater viewing options--fancy transitions, timing options, etc. Composite- and S-video outputs bring compatibility with nearly any television. In the audio realm, a set of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each optical and coaxial) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver. Apex's Active Full-screen Function (AFF) helps resize widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) video images to fill 4:3 aspect-ratio sets, and an LED indicates power status. What's in the Box DVD player, remote control, remote batteries, user's manual, stereo analog audio interconnect/composite-video cable.
